Artwork

While I continue to work my design skills into a vessel for storytelling, creating visual art has been a fantastic way for me to learn about composition, colour, shape, and form. Winding down after work, or expelling some of my nervous energy in the morning - like most other visual artists, art is just as much about the process as it is about the end result. Throwing colours around thoughtfully or experimentally, watching the elements start to meld together, and letting time slip away as you make something out of nothing.

Drawing and painting have been a major part of my life since I was a kid. I delve into different mediums from time-to-time but have found that my favourites are watercolours, inks, and simple pencil work.

Dinuki Adikaram is a UX & Graphic Designer based in Metro Vancouver*, BC. She enjoys designs that contrast structured geometry with fluid shapes and linework. Her fascination with UX stems from a lifetime of curiosity and confusion about the world, its inhabitants, and the 'how' and 'why' of it all.
